Participants will have the opportunity to visit sites of promising future industries-previously only seen in textbooks-experience the dynamic flow of these industries firsthand, and gain insights to help them plan their careers and futures.
The "BJFEZ Youth Insight Trip" is operated for students and faculty members of relevant departments at universities and high schools in the Busan and Gyeongnam regions, with each session accommodating 20 to 40 participants. Starting with a tour of the BJFEZ promotional center, participants will visit major districts and directly tour leading companies connected to the four core strategic industries: port and logistics, smart transportation, advanced materials and components, and bio-healthcare.
Park Sungho, head of the Busanjin-Hae Economic Free Zone Authority, stated, "This program will allow young people to directly experience the technologies at port hinterlands and innovative companies, while companies can expand their on-site networking and recruitment pipelines. I hope this will serve as an opportunity for young people who will lead the region’s future to recognize the potential and value of Busan and Gyeongnam, and to concretize their career paths."
