Since 2021, the Ministry of Patriots and Veterans Affairs has implemented the 'Excellent Consignment Certification System' to enhance the quality of medical services and user satisfaction. This year, 30 hospitals and clinics nationwide were selected through a first and second round of evaluations and a review by an advisory committee, based on nine assessment indicators including the level of medical services, appropriateness of treatment, user satisfaction, and participation in veterans honor initiatives.
In the Busan region, Seoil Medical Foundation Gijang Hospital and Neulpureun Internal Medicine Clinic were designated as Excellent Veterans Consignment Hospitals. The certification is valid for two years, from October 2025 to September 2027.
