Daejeon Technopark Shares Next-Generation Secondary Battery Technology and Material Trends
"Technology Exchange Networking Day" to Be Held on October 20
In Daejeon, domestic experts and companies in the secondary battery sector will gather in one place to share the latest technology trends and directions for next-generation material development at a technology exchange event.
Daejeon Technopark will host the "5th Daejeon Secondary Battery Technology Exchange Networking Day" together with the Daejeon Metropolitan Government on October 20 at the Daejeon TP Intelligent Robot Industrialization Center.
This event aims to revitalize the local secondary battery industry ecosystem and strengthen the competitiveness of companies, serving as a platform for Daejeon to become a core hub for the next-generation secondary battery industry.
The presentations will include: ▲ Lee Dongwook, Director at Ecopro BM, on the current status of next-generation battery material development; ▲ Kim Myunghwan, Head of the Korea Research Institute of Chemical Technology, on directions for sustainable secondary battery development; and ▲ Kang Seokchang, Director at Smart Korea, on the development and commercialization cases of silicon-based anode materials using high-performance carbon materials.
In addition, innovative local companies with secondary battery technologies will showcase their research achievements and technical capabilities, while participants will have opportunities to expand joint research and commercialization collaborations through networking.
Daejeon Metropolitan Government and Daejeon Technopark plan to use this event as a catalyst to inject new vitality into the regional secondary battery industry, create synergy among companies, and foster Daejeon as a central city for the next-generation secondary battery industry.
Applications for participation can be submitted online through the Daejeon Technopark website until October 17. Anyone interested in secondary battery and material technologies, including company representatives, researchers, and university students, is welcome to join.
