Gyeonggi Agricultural Research and Extension Services to Host "Youth Farmers' Direct Market Festival" at Dongtan Lake Park on October 18-19
The Gyeonggi-do Agricultural Research and Extension Services will host the "Emotional Farmer's Urban Outing," a youth farmers' market where young farmers and urban residents can interact, for two days from October 18 to 19 at the Undapwon in Dongtan Lake Park, Hwaseong City.
Approximately 150 young farmers from 17 cities and counties, including Suwon, Yongin, and Pocheon, will participate in the event, operating a total of 25 sales and experience booths.
At the sales booths, visitors can find and purchase fresh agricultural products, local specialties, and processed goods grown and produced directly by young farmers. The experience booths will offer family-friendly programs such as making grape jelly, decorating mini gardens, and making handmade rice donuts.
