More than 500 people, including Mayor Kim Donggeun, distinguished guests, and citizens, participated in the event. Around 40 citizen models-including children, teenagers, seniors, and people with disabilities-who were selected through a preliminary public review, took to the stage to express their individuality beyond generational and physical boundaries. Families of the citizen models and visitors to Haengbok-ro also enjoyed the beauty of Hangul as they watched the show.
The fashion show featured three main themes: "Rediscovery of Tradition," showcasing traditional hanbok embroidered with Hunminjeongeum script; "Hangul in Everyday Life," focusing on daily hanbok; and "Hangul into the Future," blending Hangul with K-fashion.
The outfits were made by adding Hangul patterns and phrases to discarded banners and recycled fabrics, creating a stage where tradition and modernity coexisted. The show was directed by Kim Eunyeop, General Director (CEO of PoseM Company and President of the Northern Gyeonggi Model Association), with designs by designer Park Jihui.
