Snackremonedo, which has a 25-year track record, is focusing on the "fundamental differences between healthcare and general business" when adopting AI technology. Taniguchi Chizuro, CEO of the company, stated, "After researching cases in Korean medical institutions, I was impressed that the adoption of AI led to increased efficiency and workforce support, rather than workforce reduction. In Japan, the digital transformation of healthcare is still slow, with many institutions still using fax machines. Through this agreement, I see great potential in introducing the wave of healthcare innovation from Korea, a leading country in DX, to Japan."
In addition, Tesser plans to pursue a variety of joint projects in Japan, such as automating health checkup reports, improving medical staff work efficiency, and enhancing patient communication, by signing MOUs with other companies including the medical software firm Mighty Neo and the medical device supplier Mask. The company will also build a local network and conduct demonstration projects through the K-Startup Center, aiming to localize its customized AI medical solutions to fit Japan's regulatory, cultural, and data environment.

Jung Hyundon, Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Tesser, emphasized, "This KSC program is not just about entering a new market, but is the first step in transplanting the 'Korean-style AI healthcare innovation model' to the global stage. We will demonstrate in Japan that digital innovation in healthcare is not about replacing people, but about connecting medical professionals and patients more closely."
