Mother in Her 70s and Son in His 50s Found Dead in Uijeongbu
On October 7 in Uijeongbu, Gyeonggi Province, a woman in her 70s and her son in his 50s were found dead, prompting a police investigation.
According to the police, at around 3:00 p.m. that day, a report was filed stating that a relative could not be reached by phone. Police officers who responded to the scene discovered the mother and son deceased inside their home.
So far, no evidence of external intrusion or other criminal activity has been found. It has been reported that the son in his 50s had been caring for his mother in her 70s for a long time. A note believed to have been written by the son was found at the scene.
