Morning Glory Sees 6% Drop in Sales Year-on-Year... Operating and Net Losses Widen
The deficit at Morning Glory has further widened.
Morning Glory announced on the 2nd that its sales for the 2025 fiscal year (from July 1, 2024, to June 30, 2025) reached 38.1 billion won. This figure represents a 6.3% decrease compared to the same period last year, when sales were 40.7 billion won.
Operating loss and net loss both increased significantly during the same period. The operating loss was recorded at 770 million won, and the net loss at 650 million won, representing increases of 57.6% and 31.3%, respectively, compared to the previous year.

A Morning Glory representative stated, "The overall demand for stationery has declined as the school-age population has decreased," and added, "We plan to respond by strengthening our competitiveness in the hygiene products market, which is a new business area for us."
