He also urged all citizens to apply for the second round of livelihood recovery consumption coupons aimed at revitalizing the local economy, and requested active use of the public delivery app 'Baedal Teukgeup,' which has been offering unlimited discount coupons since September 15. During his visit, he listened to the voices of those on the front lines of the local economy.
Mayor Kim Kyungil stated, "Small business owners who continue to work steadfastly in the same place, even under difficult economic conditions, are truly the backbone of the local economy." He added, "We will do our utmost to support small business owners struggling with reduced consumption, high prices, and high interest rates, and to revitalize the local economy."

In response to the prolonged economic downturn and to stabilize the livelihood economy, Paju City issued Paju Pay worth 318.9 billion won this year, the largest amount in the country. In particular, following the Lunar New Year in February and Family Month in May, the city has expanded the maximum recharge limit for Paju Pay to 1 million won in October, when Chuseok falls, in an effort to ease the financial burden on citizens.
