Establishing a North American Foothold in Canada
Support Includes Participation in Toronto Startup Conference
The Korea Venture Business Association announced on October 2 that it has finalized 16 companies to participate in the "North America Expansion Tech Service K-Innovation Delegation," a program supporting promising domestic small and venture businesses in entering the North American market through collaboration with the Canadian government and private innovation organizations.
This initiative aims to use Canada, which has emerged as a global innovation hub, as a base to select competitive companies in five key technology sectors: artificial intelligence (AI), energy storage systems (ESS), mobility, smart cities, and deep tech. The program seeks to connect these companies with local partners for collaboration and investment opportunities.
The main programs include participation in the Elevate Festival, a global startup conference held in Toronto, Canada; local institution matching; one-on-one sales missions; investment promotion briefings; and networking events.
