Gangwon Tourism Organization Launches "KTX East Sea Line Railway Travel Certification Event"
Ride the East Sea Line Along the Coast, Capture Memories and Win Prizes
Gangwon Province and Gangwon Tourism Organization Hold Certification Event Until November 16
Gangwon Special Self-Governing Province (Governor Kim Jin-tae) and the Gangwon Tourism Organization (CEO Choi Seong-hyun) announced that they will be holding the "KTX East Sea Line Railway Travel Certification Event" from October 2 to November 16, 2025.

View original imageThis event, organized to promote travel on the East Sea Line during the Chuseok holiday and the peak autumn season, targets passengers using the East Sea Line, including Gangneung, Donghae, Samcheok, and Busan Bujeon Stations. Participants can join by submitting photos of train stations, train interiors, and scenery, along with their East Sea Line train tickets or receipts for verification.
Anyone who uses the East Sea Line train can participate in the event through the dedicated website, and a variety of prizes such as department store gift certificates, convenience store and cafe mobile vouchers will be awarded through a drawing.
Choi Seong-hyun, CEO of the Gangwon Tourism Organization, stated, "Through this East Sea Line railway travel certification event, we aim to spread the appeal of railway travel on the East Sea Line and further revitalize tourism along the East Coast by connecting railway stations. We hope that everyone traveling on the East Sea Line during the upcoming Chuseok holiday will have a safe and comfortable journey."
