View original imageJeonnam Province announced on October 1 that it has completed the development of 'Jeonnam iTalk,' an integrated platform for pregnancy, childbirth, and childcare, and has officially launched the service.
Jeonnam Province has worked on developing the integrated platform to gather information on pregnancy, childbirth, and childcare support programs that were previously scattered across national, provincial, and municipal institutions, and to allow online applications for provincial support programs without the need for in-person visits.
Through 'Jeonnam iTalk,' users can access information on more than 300 pregnancy, childbirth, and childcare support programs offered by national, provincial, and municipal institutions. In addition, eight provincial support programs, including assistance for long-distance travel for couples experiencing infertility, can be applied for online. In November, the platform will be expanded to allow reservations for the Gangjin-gun public postpartum care center and applications for fee reduction support for public postpartum care centers.
Jeonnam Province plans to further enhance the platform next year by establishing reservation systems for all public postpartum care centers in the province and adding application features for municipal and county-specific support programs.
During the development process, Jeonnam Province held several meetings with municipal and county officials to listen to feedback from the field, minimize user inconvenience, and provide better services.
'Jeonnam iTalk' can be accessed by searching for 'Jeonnam iTalk' on internet portals or by connecting directly to the operating server. It is also available for download and use as a mobile app.
