"Mobile Hana Bank" Vehicles Deployed at Yangjae Meeting Square Rest Area (Outbound) to Support New Banknote Exchange
Hana Bank announced on October 1 that it will provide a total of 15 trillion won in special funding support to small and medium-sized enterprises with high capital demand before and after the Chuseok holiday, with applications open until the 24th.
The support covers new corporate loans with maturities of up to one year, including general loans (operating/facility), commercial bills, and trade bill loans, as well as extensions (or refinancing) of previously issued special holiday loans (for Lunar New Year and Chuseok). Loan interest rates will be reduced by up to 1.5%.
This special funding consists of 6 trillion won in new loans and 9 trillion won in extensions, totaling 15 trillion won. The program is expected to significantly reduce interest expenses on both new and existing loans, providing substantial assistance to small and medium-sized enterprises (including sole proprietors) that need funds around the holiday period.
Additionally, to meet the demand for exchanging new banknotes during Chuseok, Hana Bank will offer a "Direct Financial Service" for travelers returning to their hometowns. On October 2 and 3, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Hana Bank will operate a "Mobile Hana Bank" at the Yangjae Meeting Square Rest Area (outbound) to facilitate new banknote exchanges.
A Hana Bank representative stated, "We hope this support will be of some help to small and medium-sized enterprises in need of funds amid the challenging economic environment during Chuseok," adding, "We wish everyone a warm and joyful holiday with their families."
