Yangju City Announces Comprehensive Chuseok Holiday Plan: "Minimizing Inconvenience for Citizens"
Yangju City in Gyeonggi Province has established the "2025 Chuseok Holiday Comprehensive Plan" to minimize inconvenience for citizens and ensure safety during the Chuseok holiday period.
The city will set up a "Chuseok Holiday Comprehensive Situation Room," staffed by 105 people across 10 sectors, which will operate 24 hours a day during the holiday to respond promptly to civil complaints and unexpected situations.
To address high inflation, a "Comprehensive Price Stabilization Task Force" will be organized, with intensified inspections of key holiday goods prices and stricter crackdowns on unfair trade practices. The city will also add extra waste collection schedules and operate an emergency cleaning system to maintain a pleasant environment.
Emergency medical services and quarantine measures will be strengthened compared to usual. Special measures to prevent livestock infectious diseases will be implemented simultaneously, and care services for seniors living alone and vulnerable groups will be expanded. Additional measures will be taken in various areas, including the prevention of public sector misconduct, traffic and safety management for cemetery visitors, and inspections of vulnerable facilities.
