"Neighborhood Makeover" ... Gyobang-dong in Masanhappo-gu Holds Major Cleanup for Chuseok
Gyobang-dong in Masanhappo-gu, Changwon Special City, Gyeongsangnam-do, held a major cleaning event on September 30 ahead of Chuseok, Korea's traditional holiday, with about 100 members from 15 local organizations, including the Residents' Autonomy Committee and Tongwoohoe.
The participants started from the Gyobang-dong Administrative Welfare Center and cleaned up waste left in residential areas and along roads over a total distance of 1.6 kilometers. In the Sanbok Road area, all members of the local organizations worked together to clear more than 5 tons of fallen leaves and waste, creating an impressive scene.
