ILLIT's "Lucky Girl Syndrome" Receives Gold Certification from the Recording Industry Association of Japan
The agency Belif Lab announced on September 30 that the track "Lucky Girl Syndrome" from the group ILLIT's first mini album "SUPER REAL ME" has received a Gold certification in the streaming category from the Recording Industry Association of Japan.
The Recording Industry Association of Japan grants certifications based on cumulative streaming counts: Gold for over 50 million streams, Platinum for over 100 million streams, and Diamond for over 500 million streams.
"Lucky Girl Syndrome," released in March last year, is a dance pop track featuring an upbeat whistle theme and delivers a positive message about finding luck in everyday moments. ILLIT promoted this song as a follow-up to their debut, gaining popularity alongside the title track "Magnetic."
This marks ILLIT's third certification from the Recording Industry Association of Japan. Their debut song "Magnetic" achieved 200 million streams within 10 months of its release, earning a "Double Platinum" certification and setting the record for the fastest achievement among all female groups. Additionally, their Japanese original track "Almond Chocolate" received a Gold certification in just about five months after its release, making it the fastest among overseas artist songs released this year.
