The donations are managed through the Gangwon Province Community Chest of Korea, and donors are eligible for year-end income tax deductions.
In particular, regular donations could be made in units of 1,004 KRW per share, up to a maximum of 10 shares (10,040 KRW), while one-time donations were collected in a donation box at the venue to support Cheorwon County residents in need.
Small commemorative gifts were provided to participating residents, adding meaning to their involvement in sharing.
The funds raised will be used to provide emergency support, such as living expenses and medical bills, for vulnerable groups within Cheorwon County.
Additionally, the booth offered information on how to report those in welfare blind spots and introduced various welfare programs, thereby promoting a culture of participation to identify and support neighbors in need within the community.
