These areas have a high proportion of elderly people living alone and low-income households. During the holiday season, the program aims to offer warmth and support to neighbors in urgent need of a hot meal and daily necessities. Previously, Seo-gu also received a positive response when it operated Cheonwon Guksi stores during the Lunar New Year holiday.
"Cheonwon Guksi" is Seo-gu's leading sharing brand, currently providing 1,000 bowls of noodles daily across 10 stores. The initiative has achieved a "triple benefit" effect by creating jobs for seniors, promoting the consumption of domestic wheat, and spreading a culture of sharing in the community. Each store also operates customized programs tailored to local needs, such as serving seniors, pregnant women, and vulnerable groups.
This year, with the Chuseok holiday extended due to consecutive national holidays such as National Foundation Day and Hangeul Day, Seo-gu will further strengthen care activities for families at risk who may fall through the welfare safety net.
The "Our Neighborhood Care Team" will check in on and visit neighbors for Chuseok, while recipients of the "Mobile Safety Care Service" will continue to receive real-time welfare checks throughout the holiday. Children at risk of missing meals will receive lunchbox support and meal cards.

Seo-gu Mayor Kim Ikang stated, "Even during the Chuseok holiday, we will pursue policies of sharing and solidarity to ensure a seamless welfare community," adding, "We will do our utmost so that all Seo-gu residents can enjoy a warm and happy holiday together as one family."
