Baby Monster's 'DRIP' Music Video Surpasses 300 Million Views
YG Entertainment announced on September 29 that the group Baby Monster has added its third music video to surpass 300 million views on YouTube, ahead of their comeback scheduled for October 10.
The music video for "DRIP," the title track of Baby Monster's first full-length album, surpassed 300 million views on YouTube at around 2:58 a.m. on September 28. It achieved this milestone approximately 331 days after its release at 1 p.m. on November 1 last year.
Immediately after its release, the video ranked first on the "Most Viewed in 24 Hours" list and appeared on the global YouTube daily chart for 19 consecutive days. It exceeded 100 million views in just 21 days, and the song itself entered the Billboard Global (Excl. U.S.) chart at number 16 and the Billboard Global 200 chart at number 30, marking the group's highest rankings to date.
With this achievement, Baby Monster now has a total of three music videos with over 300 million views. Previously, the music videos for "SHEESH," the title track of their first mini album, and their pre-debut song "BATTER UP" also reached the same milestone.
Additionally, Baby Monster surpassed 10 million subscribers on their official YouTube channel just 1 year and 5 months after debuting, the fastest pace among K-pop girl groups. Currently, they have 11 videos with over 10 million views each, and their cumulative views have reached 5.6 billion.
