Through Firsthand Experience of Nordic Design Cases
The Korea Institute of Design Promotion (KIDP) announced on September 29 that it held the "Korea Design Membership Plus (KDM+) and Digital Convergence Design Professional Training Project Joint Global Workshop" at Aalto University in Finland over five days, from September 22 to 26.
A total of 24 participants attended the workshop, including 15 undergraduate students selected through KDM+ and 9 graduate students chosen from the Digital Convergence Design Professional Training Project.

View original imageThe workshop featured educational programs such as lectures and project sessions under the theme "The Future of Design and Technology." The curriculum was designed to help students develop creative problem-solving skills and convergence capabilities required in future industries, covering a wide range of topics including design, artificial intelligence (AI), smart cities, and sustainability. Networking and research programs were also provided, allowing participants to visit local industry and design institutions and experience the innovative culture of Nordic design firsthand.
KIDP plans to continue expanding global-level educational opportunities by collaborating with leading overseas educational institutions in the future.
