Kumon Learning Holds 27th Kyowon Kumon Learning Research Conference
A Total of 623 Teams Participate
Kumon Learning announced on the 29th that it held the 27th Kyowon Kumon Learning Research Conference at the Dogo Training Center in Asan, Chungnam on the 26th.
The Learning Research Conference is an annual academic event that Kumon has been holding since 1999 to strengthen the teaching capabilities of Kumon instructors. During this event, Kumon instructors form teams and spend a year guiding members, then write and present research papers on their subject-specific teaching know-how, sharing and communicating their findings.

View original imageThis year’s conference saw participation from a total of 623 teams and more than 2,700 people. Awards were presented in the following categories: Grand Prize (1 team), Excellence Award (10 teams), Research Award (30 teams), Challenge Award (30 teams), Study Award (20 teams), and Rookie Study Award (10 teams). Winning teams received research grants and an opportunity to attend a training session in Jeju Island. The Grand Prize was awarded to the “ORTUS 2nd Team” from the Seogwangju branch in Jeonnam, which presented research on teaching methods for mathematics under the theme “The Beauty of Incomplete Workbooks.”
