Siheung City to Operate Emergency Medical Services and Holiday Duty Pharmacies During Chuseok Holiday
Siheung City in Gyeonggi Province will operate emergency medical institutions and holiday duty pharmacies for seven days, from October 3 to October 9, during the Chuseok holiday period, in order to minimize inconvenience to residents caused by gaps in medical services.
Information about medical institutions, such as clinics and pharmacies that will be open during the holiday period, can be found on the Emergency Medical Information Center website, the Siheung City website, and the 'Emergency Medical Information Provider' smartphone app. Related information will also be provided by the Siheung City Public Health Center, the Health and Welfare Call Center (129), the 119 Emergency Situation Management Center, and the city and provincial telephone consultation service (120).
During this period, three hospitals-Siwha Hospital, Sincheon Union Hospital, and Central Hospital-will operate emergency rooms 24 hours a day.

An official from the Siheung City Public Health Center stated, "We will operate an emergency medical response situation room at the health center and do our best to minimize inconvenience to residents during the holiday period."
