Gwangmyeong City to Hold 10% Local Currency Cashback Event in October
Gwangmyeong City in Gyeonggi Province will launch a 10% cashback event for its local currency, "Gwangmyeong Sarang Currency," starting from October 1.
This event has been organized ahead of the Chuseok holiday to ease the burden on citizens' shopping expenses and to promote local consumption. During the event period, if you make payments with Gwangmyeong Sarang Currency, you will receive an instant cashback of 10% of the payment amount, up to a maximum of 100,000 won.
Additionally, throughout October, users can receive a 10% recharge incentive on recharge amounts up to 1 million won, allowing them to benefit both when recharging and when using the currency.

The cashback event may end early if the allocated budget runs out, and it does not apply to amounts used for livelihood recovery consumption coupons or policy allowances. The awarded cashback must be used by November 30, and any unused amount will be automatically forfeited after the deadline.
