The program was designed to provide practical support to young people facing challenges in the job market, offering participants the opportunity to visit local companies in person, communicate with current employees, and gain valuable, firsthand information needed for employment.
Bake Plus Co., Ltd., the company visited during this tour, was established in 1994 and became a subsidiary of the French dairy specialist group Savencia in 2018. The company has been recognized as an 'Excellent Employer' for four consecutive years and is set to be certified as a 'Great Place to Work in Korea' in 2025. By leading the supply of premium food ingredients and spreading confectionery and bakery technology, Bake Plus Co., Ltd. has garnered global recognition for its outstanding corporate culture, making it a noteworthy employer for young people.
This program was further enriched by a special employment lecture given by Director Kim Hyunsook of Bake Plus Co., Ltd., who volunteered her expertise. The lecture covered topics including an introduction to the company, tips for writing effective resumes and preparing for successful interviews, job introductions, practical interview exercises, and product tastings, providing participants with practical and useful information.
One young participant shared, "It was a great help in preparing for employment to learn directly from a current employee at the company site about resume writing and interview techniques, and to be able to ask questions."
Kim Hyunsook, Director of Bake Plus Co., Ltd., said, "I am pleased to be able to offer even a small amount of help to young people striving to overcome the challenging hurdle of employment. It was a meaningful time for me to share not only information about our company but also my own experiences and know-how with the participants."
