Gwangju Bank and Gwangun Leaders Club Hold 'Sharing Love' Event for Chuseok

View original imageOn September 26, Gwangju Bank announced that, ahead of the Chuseok holiday, it held a sharing event with members of the 'Gwangun Leaders Club,' a gathering of CEOs from outstanding local small and medium-sized enterprises, to express their love for the region.
This sharing event took place at the Dreamtree Social Welfare Center in Buk-gu, Gwangju, and the Shinaewon Child Welfare Facility in Nam-gu. Gwangju Bank and members of the Gwangun Leaders Club delivered daily necessities, other essential items, and donations to each facility.
The Gwangun Leaders Club, a group of CEOs from outstanding local small and medium-sized enterprises in partnership with Gwangju Bank, was founded in 2007 and currently has around 240 members. Every year, during both Lunar New Year and Chuseok, as well as in times of need, the club consistently leads various sharing activities, such as supporting local welfare facilities and the Gwangju-Jeonnam Community Chest of Korea, setting an example for the development of the local community.
Park Cheolhong, President of the Gwangun Leaders Club Central Association, said, "As the leading gathering of CEOs in our region, the Gwangun Leaders Club is committed not only to ongoing social contribution activities but also to spearheading job creation and the development of our local community. We will continue to do our best to practice warm sharing with our neighbors in need and to actively address local issues for the advancement of our community."
