Korea Zinc announced on the 26th that it was selected as the winner in the Environmental Management category at the 2025 Korea Management Awards ceremony, which was held the previous day at El Tower in Seocho-gu, Seoul.

It recognizes companies and CEOs who have contributed to the development of the national economy through management innovation and social responsibility.
Korea Zinc received high marks for establishing an eco-friendly management system, complying with environmental regulations, and engaging in activities that promote coexistence with the local community. The company is working toward achieving RE100 by transitioning to renewable energy, pursuing resource circulation projects, and expanding into secondary battery materials, while also actively participating in social contribution initiatives.
