38 Participants from 11 Fire Stations Share Investigation Cases and Receive Specialized Training
The Gyeonggi Northern Fire and Disaster Headquarters held the 2025 Northern Gyeonggi Fire Investigation Information Exchange Meeting from September 25 to 26 at Baekhak Jayuro Resort in Yeoncheon County.

View original imageA total of 38 participants, including the headquarters staff, fire investigation team leaders, and fire investigators from 11 fire stations, attended the meeting. The event featured a variety of programs, such as specialized training on fire cases involving electronic products, presentations and discussions on fire investigation cases, a communication session with the Chief, and a discussion on improving fire investigation work. In addition, healing programs such as a tour of Sung Uijeonji were organized to provide investigators with opportunities for relaxation and networking.
On the first day, Park Youngguk, CEO of Hangang Forensic Science Institute, led the specialized training as an instructor, giving a lecture on fire cases involving electronic products such as air conditioners and on inspection techniques. This was followed by sharing real-life investigation cases, including large-scale fires and fires with casualties from each fire station, which helped enhance the practical skills of the fire investigators.
