Kyowon Group Kicks Off 40th Anniversary with "Kyowon Gratitude Sharing Tour" in Shanghai, China
Inviting 96 Children and Parents from Local Community Centers
Three Nights and Four Days of Cultural Experiences in Shanghai
Kyowon Group announced on September 26 that it will launch a variety of campaigns to express gratitude to customers, society, and employees in celebration of its 40th anniversary.
This initiative reflects the value of "lifelong relationships," which Chairman Jang Pyungsoon has embraced as a core management philosophy. The campaign is designed to share the achievements of the past 40 years and reaffirm Kyowon Group's commitment to warm, mutual growth.
The 40th anniversary campaign will consist of the Kyowon Gratitude Sharing (social contribution) event in September and the Kyowon Gratitude Festa (customer promotion) in October. The campaign officially kicked off with the successful completion of the first event, the "Kyowon Audit Sharing Tour," a social contribution program supporting overseas cultural experiences for children from local community centers.
This tour was organized in line with Chairman Jang's belief that "it is the responsibility of an educational company to provide children with quality educational opportunities." Since 1999, Kyowon Group has continued a wide range of social contribution activities for 25 years, supporting children who may be excluded from learning and cultural experiences due to economic circumstances.
The Kyowon Audit Sharing Tour took place in Shanghai, China, from September 21 to 24. A total of 96 participants, including children from seven local community centers selected by co-host Green Umbrella Children's Foundation and their parents, joined the program. Kyowon Tour, a Kyowon Group affiliate, operated dedicated programs to ensure the children could learn and create valuable memories in a safe environment.
Participants visited historical sites related to the Korean independence movement, such as the Provisional Government of the Republic of Korea building, Hongkou Park, Maewon, and Yongjingfang, as well as experienced the culture and history of both countries at Yuyuan Old Street, Nanjing Road, Oriental Pearl Tower, and the Shanghai Circus performance. They also enjoyed special family time at Shanghai Disneyland.
Following this overseas cultural experience support, Kyowon Group plans to donate the Red Pen book series and Kyowon Wells environmental appliances to local community centers nationwide in November as part of the Kyowon Gratitude Sharing campaign. Through these efforts, the company aims to support children's academic and emotional development and provide a pleasant living environment to promote balanced growth.
