For the “Our Hometown National Heritage Utilization Project,” the selected initiatives include: ▲ the National Heritage Night Tour project, “A Millennium of Government Offices Embracing Gangneung, Gangneung Daedohobu”; ▲ the Traditional Temple Utilization Project, “Bohyeon-haeng, Gangneung-mi, Traditional Temple Heritage Exploration”; and ▲ the Old Houses and Head Family Utilization Project, “A 300-Year-Old Head Family, Stories Blooming at Seongyojang.” These projects aim to raise public awareness of the region’s outstanding national heritage and to revitalize the local tourism industry.
Among these, the National Heritage Night Tour project was designated as a flagship brand project by the National Heritage Administration last year and will be automatically selected for the next three years, until 2027, without the need for additional screening procedures.
