Expansion of "Sup" Product Portfolio
"Sup Kimchi for Spicy Food Beginners" and "Sup Sauce" to Launch Next Month
CJ CheilJedang is expanding its portfolio of "Sup" products, driven by the popularity of "Sup Kimchi."
On the 25th, CJ CheilJedang announced that it will launch "Sup Kimchi Rice Bowl" and "Sup Tteokbokki," both featuring the spicy flavor secret of "Sup Kimchi," within this month. Starting next month, the company will sequentially introduce "Sup Kimchi for Spicy Food Beginners" and "Sup Sauce." By expanding the category from intensely spicy kimchi products such as "Sup Kimchi" and "Sup Green Onion Kimchi," the company aims to continue the spicy flavor trend.
"Sup Kimchi Rice Bowl" is a bundled product that includes rice and a sauce made with spicy kimchi and sesame oil. "Sup Tteokbokki" features spicy tteokbokki made with Sup's unique spicy sauce, and the rice cakes are crafted using CJ's proprietary technology. "Sup Kimchi for Spicy Food Beginners" is designed for consumers who want to try Silvi Kimchi but cannot handle intense spiciness; it retains the delicious spicy flavor of Silvi Kimchi but with reduced heat. "Sup Sauce" is a versatile ambient sauce that can be used as a dipping sauce for meat and snacks or added to dishes like fried rice and pasta that require a spicy kick. It will be available in both tube and stick forms.
