Gwangju Urban Corporation Shares Outstanding Achievements in Human Resource Development
Social Service Institute Benchmarks Personnel Management and Training Systems
Gwangju Urban Corporation (President Kim Seungnam) announced on September 24 that officials from the Gwangju Social Service Institute visited the corporation to share best practices in Human Resource Development (HRD) and to engage in mutual benchmarking activities.
This visit aimed to disseminate the achievements of Gwangju Urban Corporation, which was selected as the top public sector institution for HRD in 2025. During the visit, the corporation introduced a variety of outstanding HRD practices, including a rational personnel management system, the expansion of educational infrastructure, and the operation of customized training programs. Both parties also explored ways to apply these practices to real-world work environments.
During the benchmarking session, the corporation shared its achievements in training program operations and discussed institutional support measures for strengthening employee competencies. Representatives from the Social Service Institute exchanged views on the applicability of these practices in the field and possible areas for improvement.
President Kim Seungnam stated, "I hope this exchange will serve as an opportunity to broaden mutual understanding and cooperation between institutions," adding, "We will continue to actively collaborate with various related organizations to enhance our employees' practical skills and fulfill our role as a public enterprise contributing to the local community."
