Korea Startup Forum Successfully Concludes "ComeUp Meets Busan"
Intensive Training Prior to ComeUp 2025
Including In-depth and Online Mentoring Sessions
The Korea Startup Forum (KOSPO) announced on the 24th that it held "ComeUp Meets Busan," a workshop for ComeUp Stars 2025, over two days from the 22nd to the 23rd at BEXCO in Busan.
This event served as a pre-workshop for ComeUp Stars 2025, ahead of the main event scheduled for December, under the theme "ComeUp Meets Busan." KOSPO collaborated with the Asia Startup Expo (FLY ASIA 2025), which was held during the same period, to provide participating startups with opportunities to attend the expo and participate in capacity-building programs before the main event.

On the first day, the 22nd, participants gathered in groups for business meetups focused on key entrepreneurship topics such as "partnership," "localization," and "investment strategy." Entrepreneurs, investors, and ecosystem stakeholders engaged in diverse networking activities, sharing insights on strengthening startup capabilities and attracting investment. This was followed by a group activity called "Master of Entrepreneurship," a mock IR pitching session designed for ComeUp Stars.
A panel talk was also held to highlight the value of solidarity within the ecosystem. In the session titled "If You Want to Go Far, Go Together," Kim Namguk, Director at Eland China EIV, and Oh Eunjin, CEO of Innerbooth, discussed the importance of solidarity and networking when entering the global market.
On the 23rd, a tour of the Busan startup ecosystem and IR presentations aimed at strengthening the capabilities of Busan ComeUp Stars were held simultaneously. Startups participating in the ecosystem tour visited the Yeongdo Cafe Street and the Busan Workation Center, deepening their ties with the local community. At the same time, the six Busan ComeUp Stars conducted IR presentations to validate their innovative ideas and business competitiveness ahead of the main event, showcasing their potential to enter the global market.
