This forum marks the second event organized by Art Korea Lab focusing on the intersection of AI and art. It aims to share insights on the impact and perception of artificial intelligence technology in the art world, present domestic and international case studies from art institutions, and gather diverse opinions from the art community to identify future policy tasks.

The event will proceed with a keynote presentation followed by a panel and audience discussion. Researchers from the Korea Culture & Tourism Institute and representatives from resident companies at Art Korea Lab will participate in the presentations, sharing research findings and voices from the field, and offering policy implications. Researcher Byun Jihye from the Korea Culture & Tourism Institute will present the results of a perception survey involving 937 artists across all sectors of the Korean art community and international art institutions engaged in AI-related art activities. Park Eok, CEO and Art Director of Sixdopamine, will share the latest AI trends based on experiences with AI and VR-based creative projects and participation in government support programs. Kim Yoonkyung, Associate Research Fellow at the Korea Culture & Tourism Institute, will propose relevant policy tasks focusing on key issues and challenges in the AI art ecosystem within the visual and performing arts sectors.

During the subsequent discussion, artists, researchers, entrepreneurs, and audience members will participate together to exchange firsthand perspectives from the field. In particular, artists Shin Seungbaek, Cho Younggak, and Hunida Kim, who are actively engaged in AI-driven art creation and research, will join as panelists to deepen the discussion.

Participation in the "AI×Art Forum" is available on a first-come, first-served basis through online pre-registration. Details on how to register and further information can be found on the official websites of the Arts Management Support Center and Art Korea Lab.

Since launching with the "AI×Art Forum: Questions and Policies for the Coexistence of AI and Culture & Arts" on July 24, Art Korea Lab has continued to host a series of forums exploring the intersection of AI and art. During the Art Korea Lab Festival, the third forum, themed "Strategies for Creation, Production, and Commercialization Using AI Technology," will be held on November 11-12. Detailed schedules and information will be announced later through the official website.
