Man in His 50s Arrested for Attempting to Lure Elementary Students With "I'll Buy You Drinks" and "Let's Play Games"
A man in his 50s was apprehended after attempting to lure four elementary school students by offering to buy them drinks.
The Jecheon Police Station in North Chungcheong Province announced on the 23rd that a delivery worker, identified as Mr. A, has been booked without detention on suspicion of attempted abduction and enticement of minors.
Mr. A is accused of approaching four elementary school students at a convenience store in Jecheon at around 4:45 p.m. the previous day and saying, "I'll buy you drinks. Let's go play games together," in an attempt to lure them.
It was reported that Mr. A had drawn musical notes on the store's glass window by blowing on it from outside, and when the children imitated him from inside, he entered the store and made the offer.
