Hwaseong Industry Promotion Agency Recruiting Resident Companies for Startup Support Spaces Until October 16
Six Early-Stage Startups and Three Technology Startups to Be Selected
Support Available for Up to Five Years
The Gyeonggi-do Hwaseong Industry Promotion Agency is recruiting resident companies for the "Startup Support Platform" and "Startup Support Platform Plus" until October 16 as part of its initiative to support promising startups.
The "Startup Support Platform" is a startup support space located within the Dongtan 2 LH Incubating Center, designed to help early-stage companies grow through comprehensive support such as consulting and investment connections. The "Startup Support Platform Plus" is a follow-up space established to enable promising startups to secure stable business conditions and achieve long-term growth beyond the initial incubation phase.
The Startup Support Platform is open to six prospective entrepreneurs or early-stage companies that have been established for less than seven years. Selected companies will have access to the incubating center’s offices and shared spaces. The basic residency period is one year, which can be extended up to two years based on evaluation. Companies established within three years or those certified as unicorn or venture companies will be given preference.
The Startup Support Platform Plus is recruiting three technology-based startups. Resident companies will have access to dedicated spaces and, after an initial two-year residency, may receive support for up to five years based on annual evaluations. Preference will be given to graduates of the Startup Support Platform and companies in Hwaseong’s six strategic industries: semiconductors, bio, future mobility, new energy, tourism, and digital·network·AI sectors.
