Donghae City Opens Second Round of Youth Culture and Arts Pass Applications Until November 30
Donghae City in Gangwon Province has been implementing the 'Youth Culture and Arts Pass' support program since March this year, targeting 19-year-olds (born in 2006) residing in the city, which can be used to attend performances and exhibitions.
The Youth Culture and Arts Pass was first introduced last year to provide young people taking their first steps into society with opportunities to experience a variety of cultural and artistic activities, and to help them grow into active cultural consumers.
This year, the program supports 283 individuals born in 2006 who have their address registered in Donghae City as of the application date, with each receiving 150,000 won. The second round of applications is currently underway, and applications will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis until November 30. There are 34 spots remaining.
Applications can be submitted online through the official Youth Culture and Arts Pass website. The issued pass can be used to reserve tickets for performances or exhibitions through partner ticketing platforms (Interpark or YES24), and it is valid until the end of this year.
The pass can be used for a variety of cultural and artistic fields, including theater, musicals, classical music, music concerts, music festivals, visual arts, and crafts.
