This video introduces the "Silver Play Button," which Kang received from YouTube headquarters for reaching 100,000 subscribers on her channel. The short video, about 1 minute and 30 seconds long, not only shows the celebration of surpassing 100,000 subscribers but also includes scenes from Kang's confirmation hearing for the Minister of Gender Equality and Family. Although she had already surpassed 100,000 subscribers some time ago, the reason for belatedly revealing the fact that she received the Silver Play Button was related to her confirmation hearing. The caption "The timing wasn't good" is also included.

However, according to Kukmin Ilbo, the video has sparked strong criticism among National Assembly staff who viewed it after its release, with many saying, "She clearly does not understand why she stepped down as Minister of Gender Equality and Family." One staff member criticized, "She did not consider at all what this scene might mean to the victims," adding, "It is further evidence that she still does not understand what she did wrong."

Previously, during her confirmation hearing for Minister of Gender Equality and Family on July 14, Kang apologized for the controversy surrounding the allegations of power abuse, saying, "I sincerely apologize for the issues that arose because of me," and, "I offer my deepest apologies to the staff who may have been hurt by the controversy." Since then, she has moved to the Foreign Affairs and Unification Committee to continue her legislative activities. Meanwhile, the police have received eight complaints related to the allegations of power abuse by Kang. In response, on August 28, the police conducted their first round of questioning of Kang Sunwoo and are continuing their investigation.
