This area brings together around 60 brands in a space of approximately 330 square meters, offering premium cookware and tableware rarely seen in conventional department stores. Through this renovation, the department store industry’s first Japanese artisan knife select shop "Maido" and the specialty kitchen utensil store "Kitchen Tool" have opened.

Maido features about 30 types of knives, ranging from artisan brands from Japan’s six major knife-producing regions such as Echizen, Sakai, and Sanjo, to renowned European knives. The store exclusively offers the 50th-anniversary limited edition "Kohen" from Shun in Korea, priced at 990,000 won. Customers who spend over 500,000 won will receive a Hasegawa black antibacterial cutting board on a first-come, first-served basis.

Kitchen Tool, a store for Asian cuisine kitchenware, introduces about 30 carefully selected premium brands from Europe and Japan. Tableware, which has seen double-digit growth over the past three years, has also been upgraded. Global brands such as Royal Copenhagen, Wedgwood, and Villeroy & Boch have revamped their stores to reflect their unique brand identities, and Royal Copenhagen is exhibiting and selling the rare art piece "The Princess and the Pea."

A new dining space, "Cooking Studio," has also opened within the Kitchen & Tableware Zone. Divided into three sections-cookware, cooking showcase, and kitchen appliances-each zone gathers products suited to its theme. The cookware section offers a variety of items that make kitchens smarter. From November, the cooking showcase section will host demonstration events featuring renowned chefs, providing customers with a special gourmet experience.

Lee Eunyoung, Head of Lifestyle at Shinsegae Department Store, said, "Kitchenware and tableware have now become items that reflect personal taste and sophistication, going beyond mere necessities. Through this renovation, we hope customers will enjoy a higher level of dining satisfaction at home with chef-quality items."
