The price is 9,900 won for six cans (1,650 won per can), which is about half the price of typical canned highballs sold at 3,000 to 4,000 won each. Only products that received positive evaluations in all categories-taste, alcohol content, and flavor-during a blind test with liquor experts and merchandisers prior to launch were selected.
The newly launched "Quat" is a Spanish sparkling beer. Despite its large 500ml size, it is sold at an ultra-low price of 990 won. With its crisp carbonation and light finish, it offers a beer-like drinking experience. By direct sourcing, Lotte Mart and Supermarket reduced distribution steps to enhance price competitiveness.
Recently introduced cost-effective liquors from Lotte Mart and Supermarket have been well received in the market. For example, the 4,900 won Chilean wine "Tasty Simple Cabernet Sauvignon and Sauvignon Blanc," launched on September 4, has ranked first in sales among both red and white wine products. "My Ball" and "Quat" are designed to provide affordable options in the highball and sparkling beer categories, following wines and whiskies.
