"Show Off Our School in a Video!"... Busan Office of Education Hosts Student Shorts Contest
The Busan Metropolitan Office of Education is launching a short video contest for local students.
The Busan Metropolitan Office of Education (Superintendent Kim Seokjun) will hold the "2025 Busan Student Shorts Video Contest" for elementary, middle, high school, and special school students.
The purpose of this contest is to provide students with an opportunity to create creative content and to spread a healthy culture of communication by sharing positive stories from school life. The winning entries will also be used as promotional content for Busan education in the future.
There are two themes: ▲ "All about Our School," which involves introducing or showcasing one's own school, and ▲ "Busan Education: We Like It! We Trust It! We Dream It!" which highlights positive changes and inspiring stories in Busan's education. Participants should select one of these themes and create a vertical short video of up to one minute in length.
Any student in the Busan area can participate individually or in a team of up to five members. The submission deadline is 5:00 p.m. on November 7. Applications can be submitted through the Office of Education's social media channels or the dedicated webpage.
The winners will be announced on the Office of Education's social media channels in November. Awards will be given to ▲ one team for the Grand Prize (Superintendent's Award, prize worth 500,000 won), ▲ two teams for the Excellence Award (Superintendent's Award, prize worth 300,000 won), and ▲ three teams for the Merit Award (prize worth 100,000 won).
