"Double the Part-Time Wage"... Carrot Part-Time Job Launches Chuseok Promotions
On September 15, Carrot announced that it will launch a variety of promotions on its local job matching service, Carrot Part-Time Job, to connect neighborhoods with essential part-time workers and job opportunities during the Chuseok holiday.
The "Double Part-Time Wage Bonus Event" is a promotion where Carrot pays an additional wage on top of the wage provided by the employer. During the event period, those who apply for part-time jobs through the event page within the Carrot app and are successfully hired will be entered into a drawing, with 10 winners receiving double the part-time wage as a bonus. The additional wage paid by Carrot Part-Time Job will be up to 300,000 won.
Employers can also benefit. The "Part-Time Wage Support Grant Event" will select employers who post job listings through the event page, awarding one employer 500,000 Carrot Money and ten employers 10,000 Carrot Money each.
Participation in the events is open until October 12, and winners will be announced on the 14th.
Carrot Part-Time Job has also prepared the "Dishwashing Speed Part-Time Event" in collaboration with the global cleaning brand Scrub Daddy. This event reimagines one of the biggest holiday chores-dishwashing-as a unique "dishwashing part-time job." To participate, users should leave a comment on the event page explaining why they want to spend this Chuseok with Scrub Daddy. Prizes will be awarded to selected participants through a drawing.
