Busan National University to Hold 1:1 Customized Employment Consulting for Disabled University Students
Linked with On-Campus "Career Fair" on September 17-18
Public Institutions Participate to Offer Practical Advice
The Disabled Student Support Center at Busan National University (President: Choi Jaewon) will host the "2025 Busan-Ulsan-Gyeongnam Region 1:1 Customized Career and Employment Consulting for Disabled University Students" event at Siwol Square on campus from September 17 to 18.
This event is part of the "2025 Career IN, Future ON: University Student and Graduate Student Career Fair," which Busan National University has organized to provide integrated support for undergraduate and graduate students in further studies, employment, and entrepreneurship.
The consulting sessions will focus on topics such as public institution recruitment systems and preparation processes, competencies required for each job, and tailored coaching and strategies. These will be offered in a 1:1 mentoring format to help each student explore career paths and set up their own career roadmaps.
Major public institutions, including Busan Transportation Corporation, Busan Port Authority, Korea Housing & Urban Guarantee Corporation, and Korea Asset Management Corporation, will participate to share on-site experiences and provide practical advice for job preparation.
Hwang Sunyoung, Director of the Disabled Student Support Center at Busan National University (Professor of Special Education), stated, "As a leading university for customized career and employment support for disabled students in the Busan-Ulsan-Gyeongnam region, our center operates a variety of programs such as recruitment briefings, employment camps, and competency enhancement training. Through this consulting event, we hope students will receive tailored support for career planning that takes into account their individual abilities and characteristics, so they can confidently prepare for their futures."
