[Today's New Release] "Automatic Calorie Calculation When You Upload Food Photos"... Kurly Launches Diet App 'Lusion'
Analyzing Nutrition and Calories with AI... Personalized Meal Plans Suggested
Personalized Meal Recommendations Available for Purchase on Kurly
App Points Can Be Used on Kurly
Kurly announced on the 11th that it has launched "Lusion," an artificial intelligence (AI) diet management app. After being distributed on Google Play Store and Apple App Store on August 19, the service has undergone a stabilization period.
Lusion offers meal logging features and personalized meal recommendation services. For the first time at Kurly, all core algorithms were developed using Google generative AI. The Lusion AI analyzes Kurly's extensive product database to classify each item by food type and examines nutritional information and attributes. Based on factors such as the user's age, gender, weight, activity level, allergies, dietary preferences, and target calorie intake, the AI recommends an optimized, personalized meal plan that takes into account daily recommended intake and nutritional balance.
Logging meals is simple. Users can either upload a photo of their food or enter the food name, and the AI calculates the carbohydrate, protein, fat content, and calories in the meal. The total calories consumed throughout the day are displayed, allowing users to see whether they have calories remaining or have exceeded their daily target. Registration is available only through a Kurly account, and the app is currently used primarily for diet management.
Personalized meal recommendations can be purchased directly from Kurly. For example, if Greek yogurt and nuts are suggested, users are seamlessly linked to products available on Kurly, such as "YOZM Yogurt-Flavored Greek Yogurt" and "Organic Saem Almond Dates."
Points earned through the Lusion app can be used on Kurly. Completing missions such as logging meals or viewing recommended meal products accumulates points, which can be redeemed for Kurly discount coupons or product vouchers. In the future, features will be added to allow users to track health indicators such as weight, body fat, blood sugar, and sleep, and monitor their own health status. Kurly aims to develop Lusion into a personalized health management platform through these enhancements.
