View original imageOn the 11th, Gwangju and South Jeolla Province are expected to be mostly cloudy, with daytime temperatures rising to around 30 degrees Celsius.
According to the Gwangju Regional Meteorological Administration, the region will be affected by a high-pressure system located over the East Sea on this day. Morning lows are expected to range from 18 to 23 degrees Celsius, and daytime highs are forecast to reach between 29 and 32 degrees Celsius.
From the afternoon, strong winds with speeds of 32 to 54 kilometers per hour (9 to 15 meters per second) are expected over the eastern offshore areas of the southern West Sea, and waves will be high, reaching 1.5 to 3.5 meters. The concentration of ultrafine dust is expected to remain at a 'good' level.

An official from the Korea Meteorological Administration advised, "As the gravitational pull of the moon is strong during the period of Baekjung Sari, when sea levels are high, please take extra care in managing facilities to prevent damage such as flooding of low-lying coastal areas and sewage backflow during high tide."
