Foundation to Hold 'AI and Deep Tech Performance Sharing Seminar'
The Research and Development Special Zone Promotion Foundation (hereinafter referred to as the Foundation) announced that it will hold the 'Research and Development Special Zone Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Deep Tech Technology Exchange and Performance Sharing Seminar' at the main campus of KAIST on September 11.

View original imageThis seminar, held as a side event of the '2025 Innovative Startup Nation Korea International Forum,' is organized to commemorate both the 20th anniversary of the implementation of the Research and Development Special Zone system and the 20th anniversary of the Foundation's establishment.
The main programs include a seminar on the latest trends in AI and deep tech technologies and strategies for responding to changes, presentations introducing the technologies of leading companies in the special zone based on R&D and institutional support, and the sharing of successful case studies.
At the seminar, Professor Kim Daesik of KAIST will give a presentation titled 'The Era of Market Dominance by Artificial General Intelligence (hereinafter AGI),' introducing the concept of AGI, its potential impact on future markets, and strategies for responding in the rapidly changing era of AI.
AGI refers to artificial intelligence that can learn and reason like a human, recognize problems, and proactively respond to solve them.
The presentations on corporate case studies will be given by Park Taegyo, CEO of IntoCell, and Kim Hyungwoo, CEO of BlueTileLab. CEO Park will introduce cases of utilizing AI in the new drug development process, while CEO Kim will present innovations in the field of semiconductor back-end process vision inspection.
