Ulleung County Holds 2026 Resident Participatory Budget On-site Public Hearing
Realizing Direct Democracy in Fiscal Policy
Ulleung County in North Gyeongsang Province, led by Governor Nam Han-gwon, held the "2026 Resident Participatory Budget On-site Public Hearing" in town and township meeting rooms on September 8 and 9, 2025.

Through this public hearing, Ulleung County provided an opportunity for residents to discuss and decide on projects needed in their communities.
Approximately 100 projects were proposed during the public hearing. Major proposals included projects for improving the living environment, road and river maintenance, and reinforcement of hazardous areas.
