Lego Korea Unveils "Lego Captain Jack Sparrow's Pirate Ship" Set
New Product Launch Set for September 15
Lego Korea announced on September 10 that it will launch the "Lego Captain Jack Sparrow's Pirate Ship," themed after the iconic ghost ship from the movie "Pirates of the Caribbean," on September 15.
This new product, developed in collaboration with The Walt Disney Company, recreates the legendary pirate ship with a total of 2,862 bricks. The towering mast and tattered black sails create a uniquely eerie yet powerful atmosphere, and when the deck is removed, the captain's cabin-decorated with various props such as candlesticks and furniture-can be explored. Additionally, a detachable boat and a mini-figure figurehead at the bow have been faithfully reproduced.
The set also features functional elements, such as turning a handle to open the gunports on both sides of the hull and steering the rudder with the ship's wheel. Eight mini-figures of main characters, including Jack Sparrow, Will Turner, and Elizabeth Swann, are included, allowing fans to recreate a variety of memorable scenes from the film.
When completed, the model measures 64 cm in length, 23 cm in width, and 64 cm in height. The finished product can be displayed in two ways: by detaching the underwater section of the hull to depict the ship in motion, or by placing it on the included stand to show it docked.
