Hana Financial Group Hosts "365 Days of Hana Care Childcare Center Experience Essay Contest"
Leading the Expansion of an Inclusive Care Culture
Recognizing 18 Voices from the Field to Minimize Childcare Gaps
Hana Financial Group announced on September 10 that it will hold the "365 Days of Hana Care Childcare Center Experience Essay Contest" to promote an inclusive care culture and create a sustainable childcare environment.
The Hana Care Childcare Center is a follow-up project to Hana Financial Group's "100th Childcare Center Construction Project," which was completed last year after more than six years. It has been operated since last year to provide care for infants and toddlers outside of regular childcare hours. In particular, it was established to minimize the difficulties faced by families experiencing care gaps due to unavoidable circumstances such as night shifts or holiday work. Currently, a total of 50 centers provide stable childcare services, including three 365-day centers offering 24-hour care and 47 centers operating on weekends and public holidays.
This contest is open to parents who have used the Hana Care Childcare Center. Participants are invited to submit a free-form essay (within 3,000 characters) sharing their experiences using the Hana Care Service in unexpected situations and stories of positive change. Submissions will be accepted until October 17. After a review, a total of 18 winners will be selected and awarded. All participants will receive a commemorative gift.
A representative from Hana Financial Group stated, "While the construction of the 100th childcare center last year symbolized the expansion of childcare infrastructure, this essay contest will be an opportunity to listen to the real stories of parents and children who have used the service. We hope that these small changes, touching experiences, and warm moments will become the foundation for creating a better childcare environment and serve as a catalyst for spreading an inclusive care culture."
Meanwhile, Hana Financial Group achieved the construction of its 100th public childcare center last year, taking the lead in addressing the low birthrate issue by expanding stable childcare infrastructure. The group has also shared precious childcare moments through the "100th Childcare Center Construction Project Essay Contest and Photo Contest," which included the voices of parents and staff. Going forward, Hana Financial Group plans to continue sincere ESG activities, such as creating a better environment for raising children and overcoming the low birthrate issue, through a variety of childcare support projects.
