The Pyeongtaekho-gil section features murals themed on Pyeongtaek's sunset and the 12 zodiac animals, while the Seodong-daero section presents murals with a marine ecology theme.
In particular, the city explained that the mural street inspired by the 12 zodiac animals incorporates the universal theme of the "zodiac signs," offering stories that resonate across generations.
Pyeongtaek Mayor Jung Jangsun stated, "We created the mural street to add cultural and artistic value to the Pyeongtaekho Tourism Complex, which has experienced long delays," adding, "We will successfully lead this project to expand the region's tourism infrastructure."
