This agreement was established so that Hana Bank can provide customized inclusive financial services, offering practical assistance and benefits to people with developmental disabilities and their caregiving families nationwide.
Through this agreement, Hana Bank will support the opening of pension accounts for people with developmental disabilities who are minors, enabling them to engage in economic activities and manage their living expenses for future independence. The bank also plans to help children with disabilities safely manage their own funds by utilizing guardianship trusts and other services.
In particular, Hana Bank will offer customized testamentary substitute trusts tailored to individual circumstances, ensuring the stable and sustainable economic rights and independence of people with developmental disabilities even after the passing of their caregivers. This is expected to address one of the biggest concerns for parents of children with disabilities.
Additionally, the bank plans to expand the benefits and services of inclusive finance to caregiving personnel by providing preferential financial services to activity assistants who directly support the daily lives of people with developmental disabilities.
